On FT request Have made a thread regarding slowdowns to help track the problem. Ok I have started getting random slowdowns. I started noticing about a week ago may have been going longer but I have been most active since then. Server load makes a slight difference Have been alone on server gotten the slowdowns but are less frequent Chunk errors tend to occur more when slowdowns happen One thing I have noticed I can go 1 hour not get any slowdowns yet within 5 mins the slowdowns can be constant I have mentioned this within game and a couple of people said they have encountered the problem also. System specs 8gb ram Can run skyrim max settings no problem and nothing has changed on my pc over the last month and scanned for viruses ect. Never used to have slowdowns like this in minecraft until recently. |

Right. So this is slowdown with your MC client rather than lag with the server? It’s possible that it’s being caused by the server but it’s far more likely to be something clientside. Perhaps there’s a problem with the version of MC we’re currently using. |

I’ve had something similar to this for ages on Minecraft. My issue seems to relate to certain chunks which are generally near someones build which generally has redstone/pistons about. There there seems to be an area of 3-4 blocks which will kill my fps, as soon as you leave that zone its fine again. Might be something totally different but thought I would add my issue if thats of any help Might of been some lag last night due to a 4-5 build moves but they should of only been 4-5 second shutters every so often. The amount of exp, chicken, mob grinders that are about could be causing some issues? |

I often find the java.exe is going nuts at the same time as I’m having a slowdown. Have you tried keeping an eye on process list while playing tony? Not sure if you’d be able to upgrade java on your pc. When I first had some probs I installed on the latest 64 bit java version. Just a thought. |

The logs aren’t showing anything out of the ordinary but the server (the actual dedi box) does feel a little sluggish so perhaps I’ll try a full reboot of it.

Yeah quite a few of us have been.
It seems like it is better than it was, but it is still slightly glitchy.

Is anyone else suffering from this?

Hi,
1, Creeper damage must be repaired with the same materials that were destroyed.
2, The are protected so nothing.
3, Should discuss and get authorisation from other players and admin first.

Before we go onto the whole whitelisting procedure I need you to do the following steps:
- Join the Minecraft group
- Register your MC username here: <a href="http://linktart.co.uk/groups/minecraft/minecraft-server/register" […]

@Mark, try starting Minecraft and do not resize the window until you are logged in to the server. I have that bug sometimes myself
